COURSE DESCRIPTION
COURSE FORMAT
The course is an online format that should take 4-6 weeks to complete. Students are encouraged to stay on task but the course is designed to be taken at your own pace.
COMMUNICATION AND FEEDBACK
The instructor will provide feedback on questions and after submitting assignments. The instructor will provide announcements and help guide students through the course. If students have questions they can email the instructor during office hours.
CLASS ATTENDANCE POLICY
Failure to "show up" online for the weekly assignments or forums is the equivalent of being absent. You should log into the class several times a week to check for forum replies and/or course announcements. Course participation is logged. If you cease to participate in the course your grade will be affected. Grades of F can affect your ability to receive aid from federal or private programs. For more information about the University’s attendance policy, refer to the Bulletin.
COURSE GRADEBOOK
The course assignments total of 500 points which is the highest possible amount upon completing each assignment and score 100% on all assignments. Your final grade will be based on the following scale:
A – 450 - 500
75% or more of the assignments are completed by the assigned due date
B - 400 – 449
50% or more of the assignments are completed by the assigned due date
C - 350 - 399
Fewer than 50% of the assignments are completed by the assigned due date.
D - 300- 349
F - 0 - 299
MAKE-UP POLICY FOR ASSIGNMENTS
In the case of extenuating circumstances that delay the submission on the assigned date, contact me beforehand to receive an extension.

Respond to initial post and two other posts on different days
